Union Civil Aviation minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Jyotiraditya Scindia submitted his nomination papers on Tuesday and will contest from Madhya Pradesh’s Guna constituency for the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, former CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and state BJP chief VD Sharma were present during the submission of his nomination papers.
Scindia also offered prayers to Lord Hanuman and held a roadshow prior to submitting his nomination papers on Tuesday. It 2020, he broke ties with Congress and joined BJP. Meanwhile, Scindia will now be facing a tough face-off against Congress’s Rao Yadavendra Singh for the seat.
